Its business was based originally on shoes and luggage, but it has since branched out to clothing, outerwear, and accessories, and what Johnston and Murphy chooses to do, they definitely do well. But frankly, what I like about this store the most is that it offers high quality merchandise without all the hassle I experience at many of the other retailers.

One of the best things about Johnston and Murphy is that I can get items for my whole family and even extended family here, and I know the items are going to be of the highest caliber. In fact, the XC4 golf shoes I bought my husband over two years ago are still as sturdy as brand new, even though he generally spends a lot of time in the rough in a typical golf game! And my Mom swears by the Mollie bootie, (her preference is black but I like the suede best), and even the harsh Chicago winters are no match for them. It's my son, though, who is currently the biggest fan.
