PUMA

PUMA is pretty ubiquitous in the athletic shoe business. You no doubt know the name and are familiar with the logo. What you might not know is that PUMA is the 3rd largest sportswear manufacturer on the planet, behind only Nike and Adidas. The company has been in the business for over 70 years and remains practically omnipresent in the sports world, due not only to the popularity and quality of their products, but their sponsorships, endorsements, and apparel contracts in a long list of professional sports; basketball, soccer, football, track, fitness, golf, motorsports, you name it. The bran dis everywhere. In other words, if you're looking for the best footwear and sportswear available, you might as shop one of the most established names in the market.

It goes without saying that PUMA products are high quality. In particular, the brand has all but cornered the market in tracksuits and warm-up pants, offering (in our opinion) the best in the industry. The shoes are all of exceptional quality, and PUMA offers aa vast variety. Gym shoes, running shoes, track shoes, basketball, soccer, casual, sneaker, and even motorsport shoes, which I didn't even know was a thing until I bought some from PUMA. Suffice it to say, you'll never own a pair quite like them. Comfortable, light, and sturdy, with a very low profile. highly recommend them for indoor training of all kinds. The prices at PUMA aren't bargain-bin, but you definitely get what you pay for, as opposed to a brand like Nike, whose prices are pretty inflated. At Nike, you pay for the label. At PUMA, you pay for the quality and the style. Speaking of the look...

What really sets PUMA apart from other big brands in the business is style. Puma has gained a reputation for their stylish products, which tend to have a more urban look to them and much more fashionable appearance than just about any other brand. As such, the brand is extremely popular with younger generations. Due to major competition from both Nike and Adidas, Puma began to diversify, and stuck its foot in the door of the fashion industry in order to distinguish themselves. And they've done exactly that. They’ve launched product lines for sneakers and other casual footwear throughout the years that have made a significant impact on the fashion industry by merging sports and fashion. This is a hybrid you simply don't see very often. PUMA unique ability to blend fashion and sportswear is their standout feature.

Technically PUMA comes in at #3 when it comes to sportswear brands. But at The Vogue List, they easily take the cake. Sorry, not sorry, Nike.
